Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
I can't believe anyone would pay £30 for Wilshere in his final year. Isn't he the most injured Prem League player in the last 3 years or something?! So a WORSE record than Andy Carroll!

There was a time Wilshere used to just glide past defences like they weren't there. He can't do that anymore and he's still only 25. Shame really

Good.

Let them spend silly money on a good but not great and often injured player.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
We’ll try for a loan with option to buy and Bournemouth will bid 30m and buy him.

I'm going to guess that it's a plea for Arsenal to go easy on us.
If we stay up we might take over Jack's medical care and give you £30m

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
Why would you buy a season ticket on the strength of signing someone who can't even get in Bournemouth's team?

I'd be more jazzed if we re-signed Junior Stanislaus off them.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
cornish, every time we get linked with players at this time of the year the imbeciles come out in force to claim it's sot sell season tickets, even though they cannot name one single person that has ever bought a season ticket based on tabloid rumours of who we are interested in. window lickers, to a man.

How is that bit of no news going to sell season tickets?

I sincerely hope I don't know anyone stupid to lay out 700 quid on the back on a paper story

must be 1000's about though as so many here seem to reckon it happens

"This is Sullivan's attempt to sell the season tickets."

Why do people come out with the same bollocks every single year? How many West Ham fans do you know that buy a season ticket based on tabloid rumours?

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
Old Sullivan is a lad isn't he? He has influence everywhere including Somerset Live who ran the story... Just so Sullivan can sell season tickets.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
This is Sullivan's attempt to sell the season tickets. Seen it before and nothing will come of it. We will still end up buying the unwanted, injured or just plain crap as we usually do.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
I'd be bloody glad they if they don't follow through with signing the likes of Wilshere.

Not the player we need. Nor can we rely on him to stay fit.

I see as soon as Arsenal jettisoned him, so did England. The old chestnut 'if you're playing for one of 'those' clubs you'll get picked for England no matter what if fit' is still very much true.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
The board will "consider" anyone that is a household name - the issue is that they never follow through and thats the way it is. Appease the fans by touting big names that will never come to fruition - fucking jokers.

No. It's because his body is just not physically able to take the rigours of being a top level pro. Not everybody can.

As good as he is he has no right to be a multi-millionaire from football. Has made his fortune on a couple of solid seasons and bags of potential.

It's ridiculous really.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
GBP30m? permanently injured?

I'm guessing if we sign him it's because we are convinced we can win the table for more injured hours than anyone else.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
If this is true then it is worrying as I would have thought another injury prone player was the last thing we needed. He has ability but too much risk involved and certainly not worth £30m.

My view is because he is slow he holds on to the ball too long and gets hacked down which is why he gets so many injuries.

Don't pay more than 10 million! He is in his last year of his contract!
